E3 2012 video: City shows off Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2

City Interactive braves E3 to show Sam Clay the CryEngine 3-powered Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2.

City Interactive is ready to let players return to action in Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2 after the launch of the original game in 2010.

In the video above from E3, CI shows us the game on Xbox 360 in a level that takes place in Sarajevo and how you will have to deal with some of the ballistics of it all if you go for the harder difficulty in comparison to easy.

Watch it above. Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2 launches on August 21 in the US and August 24 in the UK through Namco Bandai on PS3, 360 and PC.

Why must the player follow this AI-guy all the time? He is permanently in front of the player. Takes away a lot for me.

Because that is how it is done in reality. Most of the time, he is just along or even behind the back of the sniper for perfect calibration, but as this is game not everything is as it is needed to be.

Yes and having a spotter *around* you is perfectly ok. But it seemed from what I saw, that he was permanently in front or first. I just don’t like the idea to play as the guy who follows the AI.

@8 Certain people will expect you to believe he doesn’t know what he’s saying. Which is odd given that he’s been banned for it a few times now.
