Yoshida: Last Guardian E3 no show down to “technical difficulties”

Wednesday, 6th June 2012 11:30 GMT By Johnny Cullen

Sony Worldwide Studios boss Shuhei Yoshida has said to EG the non-appearance of The Last Guardian was down to “technical difficulties”.

“The team is back in Tokyo is working hard, and there are some technical difficulties that the team is focused on right now,” Yoshida told the site.

“That’s why we don’t have an update.”

Yoshida moved quickly during E3 to give a small update that the Team ICO game was still in the works, but wouldn’t clarify further than that.

New footage hasn’t been seen on TLG since Tokyo Game Show 2010.

Its dead. They don’t know how to make the idea into a game. Its dead.

    It’s not dead.

Technical difficulties does not mean that it is dead.

You would have thought it would be possible to show something, if only a new cutscene perhaps.

Has the wait for this gone beyond the wait we had for Gran Turismo 5 now? I can’t remember when they revealed this game.

In any case I’m getting the slight feeling that The Last Guardian is doomed.

I do also think it wont come to the ps3, it will be a ps4 tittle maybe as a launch tittle, at least thats what i do hope, because if thats not the case it might be cancell altogether, and that will suck.

I hope it’s true what this guys says. It would be so sad to see a game like this eventually ending up in the trashcan. A game that has so much ‘heart’ , that much is clear when you watch the trailers for it.
