Remedy registers AlanWake2.com

The force is getting stronger with this one: Remedy’s registered AlanWake2.com, as spotted here.

The registration ties back to the developer’s headquarters in Espoo in Finland.

It comes after Remedy lead writer Sam Lake teased in some way an actual sequel over the weekend.

The last installment in the series was American Nightmare. It launched on XBLA back in February before coming to PC last month.

The series made its debut on Xbox 360 back in May 2010 after a five year wait that included an announce for the PC version. That would not arrive until January of this year.

If the evidence does start to add up towards an announcement, it will likely happen at Microsoft later this evening. Get all the details here.

Funny thing about domains revealing games.

If they really didn’t want to reveal a game when registering domains, then they could very easily purchase the privacy setting that all domain websites offer :P

They said this Alan wake 2 was for next gen so if they do show it later, then new xbox might be demoed. I know MS said they arent showing it but come on as if they would want people to know.

I don’t think that’s the case but IF that’s true, this is gonna be THE ultimate moment of E3.
New Alan Wake game shown on the new Xbox console. That would be a reveal for the ages and because of being too awesome, it has zero chance of happening.

So AW2 would be next gen then? That would mean they are gonna be showing/or talking about two next gen games.

Cause…also this

Well takes an average of 2yrs to make a game and if you remember the first Alan wake, that took ages to come out. They listed a few games being made for next gen, alan wake 2, saints row 4. So if Alan wake 2 was confirmed for nextgen, why show a nextgen game today and not the console it would run on, wouldn’t make sense.
Either that or neither will be showed.
