PlayStation Network content added to GameStop, EB Games offering

GameStop-family retailers across Australia, New Zealand and several European nations will begin selling PlayStation Network games and DLC in-store.

The addition of PSN vouchers to GameStop's retail offerings will allow players to buy specific downloadable games and add-ons without having to input credit card details to the PlayStation Store.

As well as catering to those who can't or prefer not to use credit cards, the content vouchers also end the problem of left-over credit from pre-paid PSN cards, and will allow players to purchase online content using store credit.

The deal was brought about between GameSpot and SCE Europe, and covers Australia, Austria, France, Germany, Italy, New Zealand, Spain and Switzerland. In some of these territories, GameStop-owned outlets are called EB Games.
