Halo 4 E3 demo shows new and old enemies alike
Microsoft showed a gameplay demo for Halo 4 during its E3 press event, focusing on the story-driven campaign.
It showed Master Chief going up against new enemies and tech, as he tries to save the UNSC Infinity which has wrecked. Both new and old Covenant foes were shown, as well as a new threat. Watch the demo shown below.
Game’s out in November from 343 Industries in both a standard and limited edition.

it looks just great! preordered the limited edition the first day that was possible. glad i did…unfortunatley the rest of the show was a waste of time. tomb raider looked great too but it´s multiplat anyway. the gears trailer looked rushed…show was bad.

Isn’t it crazy to see how far you can go while still be on the same generation? It’s mental comparing the visuals of reach to 3 nevermind when we do it with this. Cannot wait!

Think Cortana is more important than everybody let on, I’ve guessed for a while now that she was somehow linked to something more important, I guessed either the Forerunners or even more likely the Precursors but it’ll be interesting to find out.

@9: i am a massive halo fan too.
the enemies in lost planet 1 were great. the artdesign was really good, a nice western/japanese mix and the damage effect when you hitted them was totally awesome and made it a joy to shoot at them – flawed game but still great, with lots of potential. i personally loved it back then. they ruined it with 2, but 3 looks kind of promising again.
back to halo: i really cannot see any problem here. imho it all looks better and much more promising than i ever thought it would be.

Really nice. Love the new enemy (Prometheus or something?). Also loving the new look of Cortana and the HUD.

Wow … this is gay as hell.
