Report - Sony to announce Plus revamp with Vita integration at E3

Sources close to Eurogamer has said Sony is planning to announce a revamp of PS Plus during its E3 press conference on Monday, along with "proper integration," of the service on PS Vita.

According to multiple sources, the firm plans to offer top tier games for free through PS3 while Vita exclusive titles, DLC and cloud services on the handheld will allow for on the go saves and downloads.

A SCEE spokesperson declined to comment, but PlayStation Plus content manager Ross McGrath indicated on Twitter that "now is the time," to become a Plus member if you weren't already.

Earlier this month, an online survey suggested Sony was feeling the waters on offering new tiers to its premium service. Options included how often games are updated to the catalog, number of new games per year, quality of games and more with pricing indicative of the tier's size.
