Dave Scammell heads to Videogamer from Gamerzines

"Sexcee" Dave Scammell has joined Videogamer as its new staff writer, heading the other way from Gamerzines.

Scammell, who was previously senior staff writer on GZ, will join up with the Videogamer team from this Wednesday, May 30.

"Dave will be a great addition to the editorial team at VideoGamer.com, and we're really excited about what he'll bring to the site," said Videogamer editor Tom Orry.

"During his time at Gamerzines, Dave proved to have a real eye for news editorial - this combined with his passion (and massive Gamerscore) makes him a great match for the site and our forthcoming plans."

Replacing Scammell at Gamerzines will be Tom Worthington, who rejoins the site after a previous stint back in 2010. His last gig was editorial assistant at PocketGamer.

Congrats, chaps!
