Namco Bandai’s announced Tekken Tag Tournament 2 will release in the US on September 11 in the US and September 14 in Europe.

The fighter will come with four additional characters from its vanilla arcade release as pre-order DLC. Michelle Chang and Angel will be exclusive to ShopTo, while Ancient Ogre and Kunimitsu will be tied to Zavvi. The characters were shown in a new trailer yesterday, and rumored prior to that.

The special “We Are Tekken” edition of the game will be exclusive to GAME.

Over in the US, GameStop is offering all four characters with pre-order where as Best Buy and Amazon pre-orders only net Angel and Michelle as bonus fighters.

TTK2 will come to PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. The original launched in 2000 as a PS2 launch title.
