Report - Silicon Knights vs Epic Games suit worth just $1

According to court documents, Silicon Knights will only win $1 in damages should its suit against Epic Games succeed.

Polygon reports court documents reveal a judge settled on the extraordinarily low damages, but that if Silicon Knights wins the trial, it can appeal the decision making process and seek greater compensation.

The trial between the two developers began on May 14 in North Carolina, but dates back to 2007.

Silicon Knights alleges Epic Games did not provide adequate support for Unreal Engine 3, which the Canadian team used as the basis for the disappointing Too Human, instead using license fees to fund Gears of War's development.
