Mario Party 9 and 3DS retain top spots on Japanese charts following Golden Week

Media Create has released its weekly retail chart for Japan, and Mario Party 9 was still tops for post Golden Week. 3DS also remained on top despite a significant drop in sales over the week prior; however, the hardware decline was chart-wide with Vita sales falling to 6,340 units – its lowest figure yet.

Below is the top 20 for the period of May 7 through May 13 with life-to-date sales in parentheses:

    I will pick mario party 9 at some point, when i have a little money to spare, but seeing is selling this way, that it may be a good game, better than the last couple fo games, i hope it is something like 4 or six, they were goog mario party games.

    For the hardware aspect, i dont known but if i dont recall wrong, theres is a theory for electronic devices that if sells less than 10.000 units, it can be considered a failure, but i dont know if this messure is for lifetime sells, monthly sells or weekly sales, i have to read that information again, nontheless the vita numbers are worrying.

    @2 FFS. I am starting to think they are doing this on purpose anymore. God damn it. This is the third time out of the last four they have posted the wrong system.
