UK games market sees more decline in April, FIFA Street top-selling game

The UK games market has seen more decline for April, Chart-Track data (via MCV) has shown.

Revenue for the month was down YoY by 34.1% to £45.8 million.

Sales were also down for the same period last year with just over 2 million games sold, a year-on-year loss for 33.2%.

FIFA Street was the biggest-selling game of the month ahead of new entries Kinect Star Wars and Prototype 2.

Xbox 360 was the leading platform for the month, but Nintendo platforms like Wii, 3DS and DS all had market share growth.
