Nintendo DSi, DSi XL get US price-cuts, no plans for UK-EU reductions

Nintendo's announced it's to cut the price of Nintendo DSi and DSi XL in the US.

Effective from May 20, DSi will go to $99 and DSi XL will be dropped to $129. They were $169 and $149 respectively before today's announcement.

Nintendo UK has confirmed to VG247 that no such plans are in place for similar reductions in Britain or Europe.

Nintendo launched DSi in April 2009 in Europe, which was followed nearly a year later by DSi XL in March 2010.
