Rumor – Resident Evil: Downfall in the works for 3DS

A post on Digital Spy earlier today stated a new Resident Evil game for 3DS was rumored to be in the works. The post, which has since been removed by the site, had the game tentatively subtitled Degeneration-Damnation-Downfall 3D. According to Nintendo Life, two of the subtitles referenced were for movies available on the game cartridge, while the last one, Downfall, would be the titles of the new Resident Evil game with events taking place between RE5 and RE6. The rumored title would also feature Claire Redfield as she witnesses “the downfall of humanity.” If true, look for Capcom to possibly announce it at E3.

I want something for the vita god damn it ..
seriously ps vita fail so much , it has no games
so far i’m only interested in gravity rush and Soul Sacrifice
thank god i didn’t bought that piece of crap

here is hoping for more games at E3.

VITA NEEDS RESIDENT EVIL (especially since it was OFFICIALLY announced for PSP in 2009!!!!!)

Fuck at least give us a 2D port of the 3DS game

Only Capcom would make a game that ties RE5 to RE6 on a console that most of the players don’t have. Way to go Capcom.

I remember E3 2009 when Jack Tretton said “Ps3 is just hitting it’s stride” and he announced Resident Evil PSP.

#4 you obviously not look at the symbols before you, dont you, he did announce resident evil then a P= big tounge, S = muttered face, P= big tounge again, he was only announcing resident evil while doing funny faces thats all man, how do you related that with the playstation portable is beyond me ;) .
p.s dont analyze the 3DS symbol, they will ban you ok

They upgraded some aspects of that PSP game, moved it to 3DS and finally called it Revelations. Of course nobody will admit it but this is rather obvious. Why the hell would Capcom make a RE on a system like PSP? Its software sales were pretty much dead long before that announcement.

capcom and nintendo have a long time sympathythingy going on. they probably have a little secret RE deal going on here.
i want more games on the vita too but resident evil must not be it…gimme medievil and ratchet instead.

Revelations was in the works 4 3DS from the start they used the Mercenaries wrongs to make Revelations a near perfect game,it was never in development 4 psp get a life the graphics exceed ps3 in some areas psp are you having a laugh.

Here’s 1 for you Assassins creed the most recent 1 on ps3 ect was the 3DS game,then got transferred to ps3/360 thats how good the 3DS is proven games from 3rd partys are awesome.
