Rumor - Resident Evil: Downfall in the works for 3DS

A post on Digital Spy earlier today stated a new Resident Evil game for 3DS was rumored to be in the works. The post, which has since been removed by the site, had the game tentatively subtitled Degeneration-Damnation-Downfall 3D. According to Nintendo Life, two of the subtitles referenced were for movies available on the game cartridge, while the last one, Downfall, would be the titles of the new Resident Evil game with events taking place between RE5 and RE6. The rumored title would also feature Claire Redfield as she witnesses "the downfall of humanity." If true, look for Capcom to possibly announce it at E3.
