Capcom full-year figures reveal Raccoon City and Street Fighter X Tekken sales figures

Capcom’s published its annual financial report today, confirming that Slant Six’s Resident Evil: Raccoon City has sold nearly 2 million units since launch.

The shooter’s moved around 1.7 million units as of March 31. If you take in the 269,000 units sold during the first week of sale in Japan, as well as another 5 weeks of business in the US and Europe, it should easily put the numbers above 2 million units sold.

The publisher also revealed sales figures for a number of other titles released in the last 12 months. Monster Hunter Tri G has sold more than 1.6 million units on 3DS in Japan, it was said today.

Street Fighter X Tekken has sold 1.4 million units since its release back in March this year.

The sales didn’t seem to help Capcom’s financial report though, as the publisher’s net sales were down 16 percent year-on-year to ¥82 billion. Operating income also took a hit, falling 13.8 percent to ¥12.3 billion.
