MLG mobile league launches with Modern Combat 3: Fallen Nation

Hot on the heels of the World Cyber Games reformat, Major League Gaming in venturing into the mobile space.

MLG has partnered with Ubisoft's mobile arm, Gameloft, and Sony Mobile Communications, to create the Xperia Mobile Gaming Arena.

The first and only game so far is Gameloft's Modern Combat 3: Fallen Nation, with over $10,000 on offer in its first prize pool.

Despite the name, the new league supports more than just Sony's line of smartphones; general Android and iOS players are welcomed.
