RIM is set to make a heavier games presence for BlackBerry devices. I was thinking about this just the other day – I bought an iPod Nano in 2006 with admittedly very simple lineup, a Breakout clone, solitaire and a turret defence game. But all functioned as you’d expect from Apple i.e flawlessly.

I then look at my Torch 9800, 4 or 5 years later, and they fail to deliver a game functioning on the most basic level. Certainly to compare the Breakout clone on the Torch, it stutters, doesn’t respond to input and quite simply looks ugly.

To hear they want to take it more seriously is great, but there’s a ton of general accessibility issues to deal with first. The appworld is atrocious.
