Metal Gear HD Collection for Vita to hit UK in late June

Monday, 30th April 2012 23:30 GMT By Debabrata Nath

Konami’s UK arm has announced that the PlayStation Vita version of the Metal Gear Solid HD Collection will release .

The HD Collection released back in February this year for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, but in going portable, will bring along Kojima Productions’ Transfarring system which’ll allow players to share data between the handheld and PlayStation 3.

It’ll also add a rebalanced user interface, but doesn’t include PSP title Peace Walker which was bundled with the home console release of the game. but it’ll come with Metal Gear 1 and Metal Gear 2 alongside modified versions of Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty and Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater.

Thanks, Eurogamer.

The lack of Peace Walker is retarded. If you’re holding out for the Vita version, you miss out and expecting people to buy both is wishful thinking on Konami’s behalf. Its a shame because i really like the idea of having these two games on Vita with the new touch controls, especially seeing as they’re old games re released.

Still, its a lot more content and plays way better than a certain other version.

Thanks Gekidami, finally someone that understand how shitty its the lack of PW. Really really disappointing. It was the only game that have me thinking about buying Vita but the lack of PW sucks too much. For the moment, not anymore till the future.
