Skullgirls sales top 50,000 in ten days

Reverge is pretty pleased with success of its downloadable indie fighter, Skullgirls.

"Skullgirls managed to sell over 50,000 copies in its first 10 days of release," the developer tweeted.

The quite extraordinary sales come even as Skullgirls awaits a European PlayStation Network release, making the milestone even more impressive.

Reverge faced its share of doubters during the game's development, and hitting 50,000 sales seems to be something of a triumph for the team.

Reverge is already working on the game's first updates.
