Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance could be heading to Vita

Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance could possibly make it to Vita, according to a presentation slide from Sony. The slide was presented during the AT&T’s Developer Summit earlier this year, and shows the various partners Sony is working with, and features the Metal Gear Rising logo along with confirmed Vita titles. Earlier this week, a live action teaser for Metal Gear Solid Rising: Revengeance pointed to some sort of reveal for later this week. The Platinum title is expected for release at the end of the year on PS3 and Xbox 360. We’ll send a mail. Thanks, AGB.

Wait a minute… a Vita version of MGR could support “Transfarring”! Except there already is a system from that on PS3/Vita.

This slide is coming from an old presentation…the logo seems not even up to date…

I guess it is again, a mistake from Sony…

Crossing fingers for an announcement at E3

Pfff… No thanks.

If it was a proper MGS game then ok, but Rising can kiss my ass. After that trailer i don’t want anything from Platinum.

@6 Certainly not Rising, a proper MGS game is about espionage, action and story. This spin off is the most pathetic of all Metal Gear spin-offs.

@7 isnt rising light bolt espionage action are something?
anyways i honestly thought the trailer was fucking awesome and you guys are just fucking idiots for not wanting “innovation”

#8 i will not call it innovation, is such an strong word, but i agree with what i did understand from your opinion, we need more new ideas on old franchises, and i think platinum is a great developer, dont know how this can turn bad?, really

honestly konami could of picked a really shit developer but no they have picked one of the best hack n slash developers out there, but no thats not enough for some people and i dont understand why people can hate the game when the gameplay looked awesome.

It’s a Bayonetta rip off and nothing more. At least that’s how they advertised it in the last trailer. Where exactly is the Metal Gear “innovation” you’re referring too?

@11 the part where hes chopping every fucker up, i aint seen no game where i can do that therefore its innovation

#10 they apparently did picked a “not that good” (in order to not use the word you used), developer for the silent hill HD collection, and look how that one turn out, i think they did went for this game with a great developer, i also dont understand the hate, is another metal gear game thrown in another style, man metroid prime is a fine example for this case, retro is a great developer, and they went in a completly opposite direction from the original metroids, at least in the first person perspective and other elements, and the game did turn pretty great, why cannot the same thing happen with this one?, platinum is a great developer, of course it will be different, but it will be good nontheless.

p.s and the ironic thing that one of the optimistics takes on this game is coming for one of the so called troll of the site, that says something and is not good, really.
This is the devil may cry issue all over again, man and we complain about annualizations and lack of fresh ideas/takes on the industry

@13 agreed, if there was anything i didnt like about rising is that the graphics arnt the same as the older rising game but meh graphics do nothing for a game

haha nah i really think the game looks good and the trailer was actually good

Wow what with the hate?
the game got canceled and then Platinum picked it up , so it is better than nothing.
and beside we already know that MGS5 is coming.

@15
People have been hating since the day that the Platinum version was announced.
I agree that this isn’t that bad. I mean, it’s from people behind Bayonetta and not some average western studio like Capcom goes for.

Given the crap we’ve just had over the “when we get round to it” for Vita Bioshock, any title on that list that isn’t already out should be treated as deeply suspect. Call of Duty? – in 2014 maybe!
