Lost Planet 3 gets new screens alongside website launch

Thursday, 26th April 2012 07:46 GMT By Johnny Cullen

Capcom’s gone live with new screens of Lost Planet 3 alongside the launch of the game’s official website. There might be some there from when it was announced at Captivate a few weeks back, but a majority of which are definitely new. Get them below.

Spark Unlimited’s crack at the series launches early next year for PS3, 360 and PC. Thanks, Andriasang.

Anyone else thought of Delta Vega from Star Trek?

@Topic: Screens look alright. But I hope, this one will not be like LP2.

Great….another game with cheesy men in space suits with big guns battling big aliens. How original.

Lost Planet 1 was mediocre, Lost Planet 2 was awful. I don’t understand why they bother with a 3rd part instead of starting a brand new IP.

Capcom don’t let outsiders use their MT framework so it will look different from a tech perspective as well as from an artistic one.

If they can add some decent game play I doubt it will be hard to best the previous Lost Planet’s despite the graphical downgrade.

Is it Starcrafts TLO or Tim ‘The Tool Man’ Taylor?

I’m probably one of the few people who enjoyed both LP1 & 2 – thought the multi-player was superb in both.

I’m not holding out much hope for this though. Spark Unlimited are behind the wheel – and everything they’ve made so far has turned to garbage.
