“There’s a lot of people we pissed off” with CoD Elite launch, says Activision

Beachhead has admitted it needs to win back users who were turned off Call of Duty Elite following the service’s dismal start alongside Modern Warfare 3 in November last year.

Alongside the launch of Elite on consoles, which took a month before it was finally sorted, the PC version of the service is still to materialise six months after it launched.

Activision product manager Noah Heller says it’s now a case of proving Elite can handle its own.

“We still have to prove ourselves,” Heller told MCV.

“There’s a lot of people we pissed off all the way back to November, and we have to show them we are not going to let that happen again. But we have started fulfilling our promises and people are starting to get it is real value for money.”

    You got that right.

I stopped using it after I discovered that the stas were different to the stats in the game…

The only real value is in the DLC. The programs are ok, but they’re all a bit similar to each other.

Ya for dlc elite is worth it. But the menus and options u have r complete garbage. Waste of money. Ill stick w halo waypoint. Its a stat system that’s not $50 bucks. Hope black ops 2 has elite bundled w the hardened edition like laat year. Cuz 60$ for a game from a 2005 gameplay engine. And $50 for a over hyped stat tracking system? Ill pass

@2 If you’re that upset about the game, vote with your wallet. Don’t buy it. Otherwise they’ll just keep taking advantage of you with shit games and shit services.
