Digital Extremes’ Star Trek movie tie-in may get a Wii U release, with the title set to release on “all major home consoles” in early 2013.

Brian Miller, senior vice president and producer at Paramount Pictures, explained that the company is still weighing up its options.

“We are exploring right now all of our options to get on the platforms that make sense,” Miller stated. “It’s early. Good thing we have a lot of time to figure that out, and over the next few months we’ll be able to announce a few more things.”

Currently in development at Digital Extremes, the title will be co-published by Namco and Paramount Pictures.
