Pikmin 2 to finally receive Wii release in North America this June

New Play Control! Pikmin 2 is finally set to release in North America later this year according to the latest issue of Nintendo Power.

The port was previously released on Wii in both Japan and European territories back in 2009, with added support for the Wii remote. It is unclear at this point whether the North American release will include any new features.

Last week Shigeru Miyamoto stated that he was busy working on Pikmin 3, which Nintendo has confirmed will be unveiled at E3 2012.
