Trademark and Frito-Lay promotion discovered for Skylanders Sidekick

Activision’s filed a trademark application for Skylanders Sidekick with the USPTO. In addition, Fusible has dug up Frito-Lay sell sheets online detailing a June promotion where customers can redeem a free sidekick with purchase. Sidekicks shown were: Big Grunt, Mega Stealth, Mighty Fin and Super Trigger with "real names" to be revealed. An earlier, previously announced promotional phase between Frito-Lay and Activision will run until May 5, and Fusible reckons the trademark filing is for phase two, which runs June 18 through July 13.
