Persona 4 Arena console confirmed for August 2 release in Japan

The console version of Persona 4 Arena will release in Japan on August 2, this week's Famitsu has said.

The fighter, coming to PS3 and 360, will include a story mode, something not seen in its arcade effort. Players will begin with just four characters, but will unlock more as they go on.

Story will also feature new scenarios not included in the arcade version.

Famitsu says pre-orders will get access to a CD of the soundtrack.

The fighter comes to the US this summer. No word yet on a European release.

Thanks, Andriasang.
