Everquest II Skyshrine update trailered, screened, out now

Guess how many content updates Everquest II has had so far? It’s a number between 62 and 64.

Skyshrine, the latest free update, adds varying amounts of content depending on which expansions you have. For those without recent premium add ons, the citadel of Skyshrine and Withered Lands areas have been added.

If you have Destiny of Velious, it also raises your level cap to 92; adds a Drake mount; provides new tradeskill quests; packs in an outdoor zone with over 100 quests; and finally adds solo, small groups, and raid content; and epic storyline events with Heroic Group and Raid endgame instances.

If you have Age of Discovery, you’ll be able to enjoy a Poet’s Palace Dungeon Maker theme and items; check out new Dungeon Maker adventurers; explore Tradeskill apprentices with new recipes including an Elite recipe; tame new Beastlord creatures; and team up with three new quested mercenaries, including an Elite mercenary.

Gaze upon it below. Everquest II came out in 2004 and is still kicking arse and taking names.
