BBC announces limited retail release of Doctor Who: The Eternity Clock on PS3

The BBC has announced a limited, physical PS3 release for Doctor Who: The Eternity Clock will be released alongside the digital version for PS3, Vita and PC. You can pre-order it through Amazon UK for £17.99. Originally slated for release in March, the latest Who title is out sometime this month.

I don’t know why, but I’m still faintly hopeful about this. Most of that has to do with it seeming to be a Canabalt-alike with high-ish production values set in an IP I like. I would be more than okay with that.

It’s strange that they’re selling games now, considering they make £3.6 billion a year from the license fee. Will they be giving the profits back to us?

I don’t think this is directly affiliated in that way. It would be kind of like asking why they don’t give us sonic screwdriver toys for free.
