Namco Bandai held the largest market share in Japan during March

Enterbrain has released its monthly sales report and for the second month in a row, Namco Bandai held the largest software market share in Japan for the February 27 through March 25 period with 26.8%.

Nintendo held the second largest share with 12.5%, and SEGA was on its heels with 10% of the software market share.

Enterbrain attributed sales of One Piece Pirate Musou for Namco's success, as sales of the title hit 771,000 during the month. The firm's PSP version of Mahou Majo Madoka Magica also contributed with 79,000 units sold.

Kid Icarus Uprising sold 144,000 units and Mario & Sonic at London Olympics (3DS) moved 105,000 units for Nintendo.

Idea Factory moved up nice places to the 10 spot on the chart thanks Amnesia Later, which sold 20,000 units, and Hakuouki Bakumatsu Musouroku, which sold 19,000 unit sales.
