@3

who is we? the Ps3 crowd?
Dark Souls is available for 360 and PS3

and you can play The Withcer 2 on PC anyway, so none of them are exclusive in any way.

Still, both great games :)

I think I’ll buy an Xbox360 just to try this out on that platform too :D . I enjoyed this game ’till the end, and, in my opinion, it’s the best RPG I played this generation. Sigh… if someone should do a game based on A Song of Ice and Fire, CD Projekt RED should be the ones. There are some similarities between TW2 and ASoIaF, especially the artistic direction, I mean armour, swords, some of the names are a bit similar, at least when I read the books, the armours were always described as colourful, and in TW2, the colour pallete was vast. Why are the games nowadays so gray? The colours in TW2 were like fresh air!

@17: It’s better optimized than the PC version (it was patched later) and has more content.

Can’t wait for the PC Patch.

I will wait to see if this game is better than xenoblade, just in order to name the best RPG for this generation, the thing is that i have to wait one month for this game T_T

Now all I need is 7 other games the 360 has for me to buy one. I really don’t want to build my gaming comp until i’m done with my programming classes so it is more practical to use a console. But, in terms of finances buying a system for 3 games I want to play just doesn’t make any since. I think i’m gonna have to borrow a friends 360 to play this game.

@23

Trust me, I built my system for gaming and mainly only for COD and CSS (I went a little over the top). Building the system is just half the fun in itself. After all you are basically building your own console in a way. Just that it can do tons more stuff.

Also, I built my system mainly for FPS games as I prefer mouse and keyboard. I then found my self playing other games like Oblivion, Warcraft, Dirt racing games with wheel, all the free to play games, skyrim with mods, and lets not forget the STEAM sales (bother adored and dreaded by so many people and their band accounts lol).

You build a PC system and you will find your self playing way more than just one or two games.

Yes sure, 90% of them are not even exclusives but you can bet your bottom dollar that the PC version is better in every single way. Better control options (keyboard and mouse, controller, wheel, etc even Kinect works with mods). Better graphics, actually capable of pulling off true 1080p with all the bells and whistles. Better online functions from dedicated servers and modded servers. 10x better fan community for games than on console by a long way (we actually have REAL clans) also not forgetting the chance to play thousands of custom mods and fan made games.

Spending upwards of £1k will net you a system that will last you for at least 4-5 years maybe more. Console are great and all, the ease of use is just simply excellent. But it is just as expensive if not more than a PC because of all the stupid DLC, Online fees, More expensive games, the need for more controllers, adaptors, and a TV and all you get is an outdated console with laggy online support.

PC FTW!

Well I actually plan to build my own system OS for my gaming rig when I get it. It’s been a desire of mine for a couple of years. That’s another reason I’m waiting. Probably going to start off with a Linux kernel and build it up from there. I would like to tell you what else my plans are but their technically not very legal :-/

Emm, judged by the comment posted here, it seems like console crowd are not very hyped about this game ! I just hope that this version sold very well too so that we can get more variation on both pc and console platform (to avoid skyrim or ME plague like COD in FPS)

@stealth: Yeah, that TOP 1 user score in recent X360 games and very high PC scores (8.3 average from 2302 users) it’s getting on Metacritic is a pretty massive hallucination.
