SWTOR update 1.2 live tomorrow, won't add Ranked Warzones

A much requested PvP feature for high level players has been pulled from this week's Star Wars: The Old Republic content update.

Writing on the game's blog, lead game designer Daniel Erickson said Ranked Warzones need more work before rolling out.

"In the future we'll be rolling the Ranked Warzone Preseason out in phases, listening carefully to player feedback and making adjustments as we go," he said.

"The first phase will be full team, eight-player queuing only and from there we'll look at next steps as Preseason progresses. In the meantime we have provided an alternate purchase route for War Hero gear so you can start building your set while figuring out your teams."

The update does contain an expanded Legacy system and brand new Warzone, operation and Flashpoint. It arrives on thursday, US time.

Thanks, Massively.
