Tekken Tag Tournament 2 out September, has large roster

Tekken series producer, Katsuhiro Harada took the stage at Namco's Gamers Day event to discuss the various features Tekken Tag Tournament 2 will contain when it lands on consoles.

According to Harada, the game will contain mire characters than the original arcade version, meaning you can expect more that 44 fighters.

New modes such as 1vs1, 2vs1 and 2vs2 will be included with the later containing a Pair Play option where each of the characters are controlled by a different player, equating to four in total battling in different planes.

A Fight Lab mode for beginners was toted, which will put the player against "customized bots" in various scenarios.

Harada said the game segments show during the event only displayed 10% completion, and assured attendees it is not being "ported" for consoles.

Game's slated for release in September.
