Dark Souls: Prepare to Die Edition lands on PC August 24

Dark Souls will launch on PC on August 24, subtitled as the Prepare to Die Edition.

The game was announced during Namco Bandai Gamer's Day event in Las Vegas, and it was said initially, there weren't any plans for a PC port of the game. However, due to the outpouring of requests for a PC version, Namco requested that From Software start making "arrangements to bring the game" to the platform. Hidetaka Miyazaki, its director, expressed his gratitude during the event to the game's fans and stated the PC petition for its release was "encouraging."

Prepare to Die will include new enemies, locations, bosses, added NPCs and online matchmaking.
