S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 video shows off animations

In the religious spirit of Easter, S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 appears to have resurrected.

The official S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Twitter linked the video, which was uploaded by a former staffer as a show reel. Check out the video below.

S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2's future remains uncertain, with representatives still unable to confirm details.

The post-apocalyptic survival shooter has been in limbo since late last year, when developer GSC was reportedly shut down by its owner. Staff members vowed they would continue to pursue the much-desired sequel, and have made multiple statements to the effect that work continues.

Cult favourite S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Shadow of Chernobyl released in 2007, and was followed by a 2008 prequel S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Clear Sky and an unnumbered 2010 sequel, S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Pripyat. The series is lauded for its hardcore mechanics and highly influential aesthetics.
