Resident Evil 6 gets new October 2 date in latest video

Capcom has brought forward Resident Evil 6's release date from November 20 to October 2 at the end of a brand new trailer for the horror sequel.

Resident Evil 6 will launch on October 2 worldwide instead of the originally-promised November 20, Capcom announced last week at Captivate in Rome.

The new date appears at the end of the horror sequel's brand new trailer from the event, which got out before a 4pm embargo today, which is pretty heavy on story detail following its debut trailer in January.

Watch below, but beware of spoilers. On the flipside, it is pretty awesome. New shots as well.
