Latest Starhawk video takes you on a ride

Sony has released a new video for Starhawk which shows off some of the game’s vehicular combat. It also touches upon the strengths and weaknesses of a few. Watch below.

This is a really promising game but the art style is so generic. I believe the gameplay looks fantastic but the look of the game actually hurts it. Not from a graphical standpoint but from a color and theme view.

I wanted to like this game so much.

But I found the gameplay uninspired, and that suprised me. I thought with the building on the field as you go and the Hawks in the air things would be rocking. But my over all experience with the beta was ‘meh.

I agree with The_Red, the game looks bland.

Unfortunatly this game will take a back seat behind CoD, BF, Halo, KZ, and prolly even Uncharted when it comes to online play.

I don’t think it will flop, but I don’t think it will be a monster seller either.

The art style is very generic for sci-fi and i also find gameplay generic as hell too and i was very excited when i first heard about this game. I thought that it was something like UT, but in the end it was a generic copy cat of Renegade in Third person.

Just because you have ideas from C&C:Renegade, that does not make it automatically a good game.

Sony’s first party studios for the past 2 years make a lot of games, but 70% of them are generic. Sony forgot about the quality.
