Four new Uncharted 3 multiplayer maps land next week

Thursday, 5th April 2012 15:19 GMT By Stephany Nunneley

Four new Uncharted 3 multiplayer maps will be available for download on Tuesday, April 10 on US PS Store, and the following day on the European end.

Here’s a description for each map provided by Naughty Dog:

  • Graveyard – Sets you in motion as you fight among ships and shipping crates on rolling waves.
  • Old Quarter – Yemen is full of dangerous alleys and dimly lit rooms.
  • London Streets – The bar, the back alleys and the broadways offer some prime spots for a knock-down, drag-out turf war, so be sure to stop by the Pelican Inn for some more brawling.
  • Oasis – It used to provide respite for a Bedouin camp, but it now serves as a sun-drenched battlefield for your multiplayer matches.

New dynamic events will occur in each as the match progresses. For example, in Graveyard, a patrol boat will circle the border and launch grenades, while in Oasis, a passing plane will drop a shipping crate that can flatten you or your enemy if you don’t make way.

The map pack will run you $9.99 unless you are a member of the Fortune Hunters’ Club, which means you’ve already bought it and all you have to do is log in.

You only have until April 17 to join the Fortune Hunters’ Club, after that, it will shut its doors forevermore.

Naughty Dog has also said The Lab will be making its return to multiplayer and additional news on future DLC and other multiplayer plans will be outlined at a later date.

@6 Of course not. By now if someone doesn’t know it costs money then they need to crawl out of their hole and get caught up on life. :D :D :D I am kidding. I think its around the $25 mark – I think.

@Hey, I am offended! (Just kidding). Well, one can always have hope, right? After what CD Projekt RED is doing with Witcher 2, you can’t say that everything costs money.

@8 No kidding! I was saying at work earlier that I think they are the only company out there not in league with Satan in some capacity. :)
