Mass Effect 3 multiplayer event promotes 350,000 characters

BioWare's said that over 350,000 characters were promoted in last weekend's Mass Effect 3 multiplayer event, far higher than the internal target of 150,000. The entire ME3 community was asked to hit the level 20 multiplayer cap with their avatars, after which they're given the choice to promote them into single-player. Another event is planned for next weekend.
