Sony confirms Warrior’s Lair still in development, sans Idol Minds
Sony has confirmed that PlayStation 3 and Vita title Warrior’s Lair is still in development and hasn’t been cancelled as some reports suggested last week.

A Sony rep confirmed that the game was still alive via a curt statement at the official EU PlayStation forums.
“Warrior’s Lair is still in development; it isn’t cancelled.”
According to earlier reports, the game previously known as Ruin was said to be canned as half the staff at developer Idol Minds were supposedly relieved of their duties.
Sony confirmed with GamesIndustry that Idol Minds has been taken off the project, which will now be completed by an in-house team at Sony’s San Diego studio.
Neither company has offered an explanation for the change.
The game was announced at E3 last year and is a Diablo-like RPG with various interesting social features and is in development for both the PS3 and PS Vita.
Thanks, Joystiq.

I’m really looking foreward to this game. I hope it’s coming soon.
People should support developers who care about multi platform licences like this. They said, you pay for the game once and get it for PS3 and PS Vita both, just like Motor Storm RC. That’s just a great thought.
