Assassin’s Creed III on track to become “the highest pre-ordered game” in Ubisoft history

Ubisoft has said Assassin’s Creed III is on track to become “the highest pre-ordered game in the company’s history.”

Available for pre-order now for three weeks, reserves placed for the title are “higher than any previous Assassin’s Creed game in the same time period,” with ten-times the total Assassin’s Creed: Revelations had in the same time period, and has already reached Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood’s life-to-date pre-order total.

Ubisoft said AC3 is on track to match the life-to-date UA pre-order figures for the previous record holder, Revelations, by E3 in June.

Game’s out on October 30 in the US.

Marketing.

“Cor blimey! Really? I’d better run out and buy that quick fast, then! I don’t want to be out of the gaming loop!”

Yeah, no.

Sadly, I’m all too familiar with how these things work. Hooray for being a psychology nerd.

But yes, numbers would destroy the illusion.
