Good Old Games has a big announcement coming on Tuesday, March 27 and will be releasing a wave of videos in honor the “momentous event.” To get everyone excited over the impending news, the firm has sent over the first video, which shows just how difficult gaming is when the “DRM Knight” is around. Check it out below. GoG has said to be sure and check out the official website at 9:00am GMT on Tuesday to see a “bigger, fresher, newer GOG.com.”

Must admit I smirked at the valve on the back of his helmet.

I like GOG. I’ve only purchased a few golden oldies from them, a while back, but I’d certainly go back if they do manage to pull off their goal of becoming a viable source for new games. Maybe that’s what the 9pm relaunch is all about?

As long as it’s still about OLD games, I’m looking forward to it.

@3 It’s cute, but it’s also targeting the wrong guys. Steam is the compromise that we can all live with, and it isn’t hard to think of others who want to use their proprietary clients as weapons.

Of course, GOG doesn’t have distribution deals with Valve, but they do have with some of those others. That’s convenient.
