Dota 2 patch files denote various microtransaction items

More evidence regarding the type of microtransactions included in Dota 2 have surfaced, if file dug up by a beta participant are accurate.

According to a player calling themselves Cyborgmatt, the files depicted announcers, couriers such as sheep and a giant badger, cosmetic hero items like beards and masks, and a few taunts.

Files for something called "Souls" can be equipped to increase drop rates or to get a player out of a low priority punishment queue, according to Shack via PC Gamer.

The Dota 2 files also referenced item bundles, a free trial upgrade, and treasure caches.

Valve has yet to announced a concrete business model for the game or an exact release date, but the beta is still ongoing.
