I Am Alive landing on PSN April 4

Ubisoft has announced I Am Alive will be available to download on PSN April 4, and for the first two weeks, Plus subs will get 20% off the regular price of the title. There isn’t a price listed, but the Ubisoft Shanghai game was released on XBLA for 1200 MSP, so expect it to hit around the $15 mark.

Little question here, i got into the PSN Gaming very late, so i’m kind of clueless here.

When Journey came out i wanted to buy it ASAP, but it was PS+ Exclusive for one week, is that always like that or was Journey the exception?

@1 It was the first time we’ve seen that particular promotion, outside of Minis. I imagine it will be repeated, as anecdotally it seemed to work out quite well for everyone, but probably just with Sony published titles.

No, it’s usually on the same day. But I wouldn’t be surprised if Sony does this with more highly anticipated games in the future again.

@2 Yeah, I bet it’s only for titles published by Sony.

Anyway, I hope this game turns, at least, decent. I don’t know what to say about what they’ve promised in their Dev Diaries, they’ve also said that they will introduce Red Dead Redemption-style random encounters in AC: Revelations, and it turned out utter shit, the guys you’ve encountered would either fight you, or ask you to carry some crates. WTF? Ask an old man to carry your luggage or fight him? Completely uninspired.

Don’t worry about it, apparently it’s pretty shite.
