Hard Reset to be upgraded to Extended Edition for free
Flying Wild Hog has quietly announced that all those who purchased the standard version of cyberpunk shooter Hard Reset on Steam will score a free upgrade.

“To show our respect for all the PC gamers who picked up Hard Reset, we decided that the upcoming expansion will be FREE for all those who already own Hard Reset on Steam,” the Polish developer said in a mysterious image of binary code, handing out a Steam voucher to the first to crack its message.
“The [upgrade] should be available sometime between the last week of April and the first week of May.”
The Extended Edition includes four new enemies and one new boss, five additional campaign levels, two more survival mode levels, and upgraded graphics. It was released at US retail last week.
Check out a trailer for the new content below.
Thanks, Strategy Informer.

That’s pretty cool, I just got Hard Reset in the St Patricks Day Indie Royale, I reckon I’ll hold off til the update to play it now.

@3: I would argue that it’s more that independent developers are great.
But great news, I went looking for information that it would be free a few days ago and couldn’t find any.
