PC: XCOM: Enemy Unknown will support mods

If you're a Firaxis fan and a PC gamer, chances are you're aware of the vibrant modding community surrounding its games such as Civilization V.

In a recent interview with PC Gamer, Firaxis lead designer Jake Solomon said that XCOM: Enemy Unknown (the strategy game not to be confused with XCOM: The FPS Reboot) would indeed be moddable and modder friendly:

“The idea is that there is the ability for modability... It won’t be anything that we’re committing to for release, but it’s very very easy using Unreal titles. I write almost all my game code in the scripts, and that’s very easy to give to people.”

So rejoice all you modders out there, you now have another thing to mod.
