Modern Warfare 3 DLC plans expanded

Activision has upped its already expansive DLC plans for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3.

Call of Duty digital vice president Jamie Berger told Destructoid that Elite's delivery system removed the strictures which normally confine DLC to a specific number and kind of releases, and as a result, Infinity Ward, Raven Software and Sledgehammer Games have plenty of unused ideas for even more content.

Currently, the publisher plans to release four additional pieces of DLC on top of the 20 initially announced. The new content hasn't been detailed, but it will release as a free, timed exclusive for premium Elite subscribers. Berger wouldn't rule out the possibility that further DLC packs may be produced, as well.

Call of Duty Elite is also expecting a packet of new content, with clan leveling, new Elite TV shows, mobile app updates, tablet support and Spec-Ops lmentioned a supcoming features.
