BF3: Back to Karkand to be patched on PS3 tomorrow

DICE has announced that  a new patched version of Battlefield 3: Back to Karkand will be released tomorrow for download via the PlayStation Network.

As detailed by DICE's Tommy Rydling on Battlelog, the download will be free of charge if you've bought Back to Karkand already.

Although details are slim, it seems the new version resolves a nasty weapon animation bug,

While users can opt into the new version at present, it will shortly roll out as a required update.

"Note that changes made on our back end will make this re-download mandatory in the near future. If you buy Back to Karkand for the first time after tomorrow, no additional action is necessary."

Thanks, Eurogamer.
