Rumour - Bathurst to be featured in Gran Turismo

One Gran Turismo fan claims to have spotted a group of Polyphony Digital staffers taking reference photos at an Australian track.

As detailed on the GTPlanet forums, five photographers were spotted hanging around at the Mount Panorama track in Bathurst.

One user claims to have captured some sneaky video footage while chatting to the photographers, in which they can clearly be heard claiming they are collecting materials for Gran Turismo.

Other Gran Turismo fans in the area converged on the site in search of more answers; one was told the photographic team would be bringing a helicopter in.

If genuine, Polyphony Digital may be gathering materials for a new piece of Gran Turismo 5 DLC featuring the famous track - or moving on to the next instalment in the series.
