FFXIII-2 Lightning story DLC out mid-May

Square Enix has announced the Lightning episodic story DLC, mentioned in Famitsu this week, will launch in mid-May as “Lightning’s Story: Requiem of the Goddess”.

No more additional details were given in the UK PR, but Famitsu said it would expand her battle against Caius from the game.

It would also feature a battle system different from that of the main game.

The details came as part of confirmation of the Jill Nabbat DLC coming to UK PSN and XBL next week for £1.59/€1.99 and 240 MS points. Shots of the Jill DLC emerged this morning.

I’m not buying the DLC or anything to do with Final Fantasy 13. I loved Final Fantasy 13 and waited freaking ages for this to come out, only to be told at the end of the game that I need to pay more to see the ending. Suck it Square Enix. Anyone remember when games used to be finished when they were released? If you’ve played Final Fantasy 13, you will be happier just leaving it at that than playing Final Fantasy 13-2. If this is going to be a norm (like Alan Wakes many DLC packs that apparently PROGRESS the story) who can be bothered?
