Datura formally announced as experimental adventure 

Linger in Shadows developer Plastic has finally outlined its experimental new project, Datura.

Writing on the the EU PS Blog, Plastic described Datura as a "unique experimental narrative" with an "original way of interaction".

Players use the PS Move controller to guide a character's hand as they explore a forest, which will allow them to experience the setting "not only visually but also empirically: an illusion that you really touch trees, faces and other objects".

Along the way, the player will need to make consequential choices which lend an "element of anxiety" to the game's puzzles.

We'll likely see some assets and impressions pieces from GDC over the next few weeks.

Datura was teased in the build up to GDC 2012, and was also shown in video form last year. It has been in development for at least two years, since the Move was in prototype. Watch an entirely uncommunicative teaser trailer below.
