Bioware posts temporary work around for importing faces into Mass Effect 3

Bioware has said it is aware that some players are having issues importing faces of characters from Mass Effect 1 or Mass Effect 2 into Mass Effect 3. According to an official notice on the matter: "The issue is likely in how faces were detected when imported from Mass Effect 1 into Mass Effect 2, and we’re working on the best way to correct it for affected players." In the intern, the firm has posted a link to a fan-made tool which may help PC users in the short term until the issue is fixed. Mass Effect 3 released today.
